For the last couple of years we shortened the length of time our volkswagen camper vans could be hired out for, whilst we grew the chauffeur driven wedding hire side of the business. However, more and more hirers decided that a weekend or short break simply wasn’t enough and wanted to spend more time with Skippy! And we, with Skippy being the all round superstar and joy to drive that he is, couldn’t disagree.
So now, our VW retro campervan Skippy is available for weekend hire, short breaks and week hire too. Skippy’s base in Lancashire, North West England is a perfect starting point for exploring some of the most beautiful parts of the country. The coastlines of Lytham, St. Anne’s and Morecambe are a short drive up the road, as is the historic City of Lancaster. Slightly further and you are already in the Lake District. Make a week of it and take a road trip to the Yorkshire Dales, the Peak District, Northumberland or the Scottish Borders. Our classic VW camper vans are a perfect way of taking in the sights in comfort – and style!
Skippy has an elevating roof, 240v and 12v electrics, a cooker, sink, cool box and a table, deck chairs and folding kitchen unit and cutlery and crockery for 4 people. We ask that you respect Skippy’s age and cover no more than an average of 70 miles per day. In our VW camper vans, your journey is as inportand as your destination so sit in the slow land and relax …. whilst smiling from ear to ear!
