‘Back in June 2011 my husband and I got married at Ridgmont House, Bolton. We had a fifties style retro wedding and everything was fantastic and so much fun.
Throughout the planning process we had considered hiring a VW Campervan as our wedding car, but we were on a budget so we cast the idea aside. A few months before the wedding, we had it all pretty much planned and organised, but there was always the question of how we would travel to the venue. I remembered picking up a flyer at a wedding fair in Preston months before, so I found the flyer and checked out the website, along with a few other similar businesses in the local area.
We enquired about prices and dates for our wedding weekend and when we found that Dolly was available for a brilliant price we knew we had to have her at our day!
People stood outside their homes and waved at us as we drove past on the way to the venue, then after the ceremony we had the photo’s taken, many of them with Dolly, the guests had photo’s taken with her, and both the children and adults loved her!
We are so glad that we found Chase the Sun and they allowed us to have the wedding we wanted and within our budget – Dolly made our day!’
