About our campers
We have VW classic Type 2 Campers available for hire.
Each comes fully equipped with a cutlery and crockery set for 4, a table and chairs to sit 4, gas bottle and a drive away awning. All you need to bring are your towels, bedding …. and your sense of adventure!
A choice of awning is available; a full awning for those camping up in the same spot for a few days, or a canopy for people on the move.
2 adults can sleep on the ‘rock n roll bed’ and 2 children can fit comfortably in the roof space, or in one of the rooms in the awning.
The campers are Right Hand Drive. With safety in mind, all campers have rear seat belts fitted, which can accommodate child and baby seats.
The Campers have a radio / CD player, portable electric hook up, leisure battery, a fridge, cooker and a sink.
A fire extinguisher and first aid box are in all vehicles.
In the Campers you’ll find washing up liquid, spray cleaner and bin bags.
As a bonus, we’ll also provide some fun outdoor and indoor games for you!
A bicycle rack holding 2 bikes is available for hire for £3 per day.
Dolly
Dolly is the newest addition to our fleet. She’s in pastel white and in pristine condition having been garaged by her one previous owner for the last 21 years.
Dolly is very popular weddings and honeymoons with chrome eyelids, badge and sidestep. She’s also lowered with Empi wheels foe the surf look too.
Inside she has a totally original interior. Her back seat is a ‘rock n roll bed’ and folds out very easily. She has a sink with pumped water, a 3 way fridge and gas cooker.
She has just has a brand new Westie style roof fitted too.
Daisy has a 2 litre engine so can travel effortlessly up and down the Scottish or Cornish hills – and everything else in between!
Skippy
Skippy was the next addition to the camper family, and what a find he was too!
Previously garaged for over 18 years with the same owner, he was meticulously looked after with a full engine rebuild and excellent, totally original yellow and white bodywork.
Skippy, again, has an original interior, with a cool, retro yellow worktop. The rear seat folds out to form a 3/4 bed, with a new luxury foam mattress. The roof elevates allowing 2 more people to sleep in the roof space.
Skippy has a powerful 2000cc engine, which is perfect for the hillier parts of the country.
Benny
Benny is a new Brazilian camper, in shiny orange and white making him irresistible.
Benny also has a new interior, and being a new camper, is economical for those long journeys and road trips.
The rock n roll seat in the back folds out to a 3/4 bed, and with a Webasto heater, is snug, warm and very cosy.
Benny is a 2 berth model, so is ideal for a trip for 2, but can also be hired out with an awning to sleep 2 more people or families.
Benny has just returned from a fashion shoot with a well-known UK clothing brand. He looks very photogenic on the pictures!
Benny has a fuel injected 1600cc engine.
Elsie
We are very proud and excited to announce the recent arrival of Elsie the Eriba Puck caravan to our fleet. Elsie is a 1977 model, bought off a lovely German lady in her late 90’s who owned Elsie from new and has towed her as far as Turkey behind a Citroen 2CV!
Elsie is available for hire with or without campers – although they do go perfectly well together.
At only just over 500 kg our Eriba Puck is very easy to tow and very easy on your fuel consumption. If you do not have a tow bar fitted, we will happily deliver and collect Elsie to and from any North West location. Please ask for our rates and further details.
Like our campers, Elsie has an original, untouched interior with an electric hook up facility and a leisure battery.
Inside there is a fold out double bed with sprung mattress, a fridge, cooker and sink with pumped water.
