We have a new beetle! After searching for nearly a year for the right car, we have finally found her. Bettina is a 1974 classic Karmann convertible beetle who will be available for chauffeur driven wedding hire in Preston, Lancashire and across the North West.
Originally imported from Italy, she has sat in a garage for over 25 years protected from the elements but a little unloved. That is until she was spotted, bought and brought to Chase the Sun HQ for a new lease of life.
She needs a full, sympathetic restoration and it’s a big job but so worth it. She will be finished in pastel white and a pale egg shell blue with matching interior. Her hood is a bale biscuit colour.
She’s currently being stripped back to bare metal before being given a full mechanical overhall and we hope to have her on the road for Spring 2018.
We are taking bookings for Bettina now, so don’t delay as dates are going fast. Here is a photograph of how she will look upon completion, with a couple of hints of blue too.
