New Year, New Camping Season!

Hello, and a Happy New Year to you all!  Thank you for all your custom, ideas and support in 2011 we really do appreciate it.  We are so excited about the new Camping Season, and have some big ideas to introduce to you over the next few months which we are sure you're going to love.  Watch this space for more info and details.

Well done to our camper vans

Well done to our camper vans for giving our clients such great trips recently - they have decided to either buy their very own camper or will be re booking with us at the same time, same place next year!

Skippy has just competed a tour of the North East, heading as far as Bamburgh Castle, and Dolly has just returned from a mini break in Stratford upon Avon, with a last night stop at Lytham St Annes.

In the meantime, I've been using Dusty as my runaround and can't bear to let go of her!  She now knows Lancashire like the back of her hand.

Time flies when you're having fun...

They say 'time flies when you're having fun...', and how quickly has the last 5 years gone?  On 4th April 2011, Chase the Sun will officially be 5 years old!  From what started as a daydream, then became a burning ambition is now (luckily for me!) a reality.  

We have a small fleet of vehicles of which we are very proud of and an ever growing list of return clients who come back to us year after year.  Not only that, but they have also recommended us to their family and friends who have also enjoyed a Road Trip in one of our campers.

Dusty, the Westfalia Deluxe sets sail for Lancashire

Another busy week for Chase the Sun! After announcing our Boat Hire service we now have Dusty, a 1972 Westfalia Deluxe Californian import, which will be available for hire from early May 2011. She's being re sprayed in pale blue - the colour of California skies - with an original Westie interior. Can't wait to add her to the fleet, she'll be an excellent asset. We're taking bookings now, so get booking!

She's still at sea at the moment, but we'll be adding a few sneak preview photographs of her resoration when we get them.

Chase the Sun boat hire from Spring 2011

We are very pleased to be able to offer boat hire from Spring 2011. We have a 21 foot cabin cruiser situated on the Lancaster canal, just outside Preston. The boat sleeps 2 people and, like our campers, is fully kitted out inside for short or long breaks.

The Lancaster canal is a perfect start to any boating trip as it is 41 miles long and has no locks to navigate -perfect for a learner or the more experienced sailor.
