Hello, we’re Chase the Sun Ltd and we are based in Preston, Lancshire and hire out classic VW camper vans.

We hire them out for day trips, weekends, weddings, honeymoons and holidays. Whatever you need a VW camper van for, we’ll do our best to fit the bill.

We have lovely campers, affordable prices, a great starting location and a warm welcome waiting for you.

We are a small, family run business and we’ve been running since 2006. We’ve gained quite a bit of experience over the years (and from previously managing campsites all over France) so can be assured of an excellent, friendly service from the moment you make your first enquiry – we love what we do.

Ring us for a chat before booking or come and see us to meet the camper vans beforehand. We’re a bit obsessed with our campers and treat them like extended family members, so we could be talking for a while…!

Location

We are located in Preston, Lancashire, making a perfect location for heading to, amongst others - The Ribble Valley, North Wales and Anglesey, The Lake District, The Peak District and The Yorkshire Dales. Our campers are also very regular visitors to Scotland and Cornwall. We serve all areas of the North West including Lancashire, Manchester, Cumbria and Cheshire, as well as many other areas in the UK.

Whether it’s been a burning ambition of yours to drive one, hearing the growl of the engine whilst grinning from ear to ear, or whether it’s something you’re simply curious about and would like to try, we’d love to hear from you.

A weekend break or a holiday in a camper really is suited to anyone. Whether it’s a family road trip, a hectic weekend at a festival or a relaxing beach break spending quality time with friends. The experience of driving our campers is, quite simply, unique and guaranteed to raise a smile (maybe even a wave!) wherever you go.

Occasions

Campers can be hired for a number of occasions such as a birthday treat, a wedding anniversary or a honeymoon. A surprise booking always makes a great present too - whisking a friend or loved one off on an unexpected adventure.
